Landscape with Cameras is a series of six photographs depicting a forest landscape populated with security cameras. The project was initially inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s film The Birds – the similarity between the gaze of security cameras and the gaze of the birds at the start of the film – the feeling of uncertainty whether there is any organization ‘behind’ their presence.
Landscape with Cameras was first exhibited at Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art in 2005, in the exhibition The Condition of England.
